Why five years has meant the world to the NZRC

Many things can happen in five years, but for the New Zealand Rally Championship, that has seen a complete transformation of the series – for the better.

It was this time five years ago that Hayden Paddon was about to debut his brand new Hyundai i20 AP4+.

Force Motorsport had built not one, but two AP4 cars – Glenn Inkster was in a Skoda Fabia, and Andrew Hawkeswood in a Mazda 2.
