Williams and Jones’ season had not started well, having retired from the National Capital Rally on the opening stage of day one, but their issues were rectified with a near perfect run in Tasmania.
The pairing won all stages of the Junior Cup and also managed to win the two-wheel drive category of the event.
It is their second win in the class after taking the honours at their home Rally Queensland last year, and next up on their list is putting together the relevant funding to compete at their home event.
