After turning heads with his performance at Rally Queensland, we caught up with the Ballarat charger to discuss his plans for the remainder of the season.
He was satisfied, albeit a little suprised with his performance in Queensland, but knows there are areas for improvement.
“It was a very positive weekend for us,” Windus explained about his Queensland podium finish.
“We went in the direction we wanted to, although we didn’t expect to get up to that type of speed so quickly.
“It was our goal to get to that speed by the end of the season, but for us to be moving forward at the rate we are is really positive.”
The weekend in Queensland helped him to get more and more comfortable with his speed and the feeling in the Activ Rallysport prepared car.
