Swede, Johan Kristoffersson, will drive at his home Rally Sweden when round two of the World Rally Championship gets underway in February.
The 2017 FIA World Rallycross champion will pilot a Skoda Fabia R5 and will be closely compared to cars running in the WRC2 support championship.

After winning the title last season, Kristoffersson will start his competitive 2018 at a rally which he has competed in once before.
In 2016, he was partnered Patrik Barth, and drove to a credible eleventh in the WRC2 category.
Barth will again co-drive for Kristoffersson who will have to take a step back from his usual 600 horsepower Volkswagen rallycross supercar.
In preparation for the rally, he has been testing in snow covered forests, like he will face in the Swedish rally.

"This year it looks to be a proper winter rally with a lot of snow," he said on his social media.
If he's able to have a consistent run, the 29 year-old is sure going to be a driver to watch in the event.
