The Monit T200 is fitted to each of the Academy’s sixteen Fiesta R2 rally cars, which have been built by WRC team, M-Sport.
“Monit Rally Computers are the perfect choice for the Ford Fiesta R2” said M-Sport Business Manager Andrew Wheatley, “They are compact, lightweight and have really useful features including fuel readout, all while managing to be the most intuitive, easy to use tripmeter around. We are more than happy to recommend them for the Ford Fiesta R2”
Back in the early days of rallying, rally computers (or tripmeters) were used only to display an accurate resettable distance to enable the co-driver to follow the rally route. These days it is just as important to keep the teams on course but Monit products do much more than just that. The Monit T200 is a full rally team toolbox more aligned with a digital dash than the basic distance measuring of older rally computers. Automatic start stopwatch, vehicle fuel levels, maximum recorded speed, and vehicle performance measuring (0-100km/hr etc) are just some of the extra features included to ensure Monit equipped rally teams have everything at their fingertips to help them win.
Along with the Academy cars World Rally Team Prodrive who run the Mini Countryman WRC have also chosen Monit to guide them on event, with all of the Mini Countryman recce cars equipped with Monit tripmeters.
With names such as M-sport, Prodrive and Ralliart, along with classic endurance events such as the Peking – Paris Rally, all choosing Monit Rally Computers you can be sure to see more and more Monit customers out at the head of the field this rally season.
