Young gun Josh Bohm has managed to wrap up the 2018 Grant Walker Parts Excel Rally Series at the Akademos Rally.
Bohm took a clean sweep of both heats in the Victorian Rally Championship round, and has managed to cement the series win with one round remaining.
At 17 years of age, the Shepparton youngster’s first season was extremely successful, showing both consistency and speed throughout the year.
Unable to drive on public road’s unsupervised, the L-Plater was able to apply for his Rally Licence with backing from the Victorian Rally Panel, and was able to compete with the assistance of experienced co-driver Anthony Staltari.
The series’ Co-Driver Championship is still up for grabs, with three competitors still in the running.
The last round of the Victorian Rally Championship and the Grant Walker Parts Excel Rally Series is the George Derrick Memorial Rally on November 24.
