Initial details of the first round of the Australian Rally Championship have been revealed by the organsiers of the Eureka Rally, to be held in Ballarat from March 17 to 19.
The two-day event will feature over 220 kilometres of competitive distance, with eight special stages per day. Forty per cent of the total route distance will be special stages.
Pre-event testing will be available on Wednesday, March 15. Reconnaissance will be on the Thursday, with the pre-event shakedown and scrutineering on Friday.
The entry fee has been set at $1500 for the ARC component of the rally, and $900 for state championship crews.
The service park will be located in Victoria Park, Ballarat, close to Lake Wendouree.
The Eureka Rally will be round one of the ARC and the Victorian Rally Championship.
