Welsh photographer, Maurice Selden, announced his retirement from the sport at Rallye Deutschland after over 40 years of attending WRC events.
Selden started at the LAT agency and then worked privately, becoming well known for his work with Pirelli World Rallying annual books, as well as motorsport magazines.
Germany was his 450th WRC event.
To honour Maurice’s achievement, the FIA made a presentation at the pre-event press conference attended by Sebastien Ogier, Ott Tanak, Dani Sordo and Mats Ostberg.
This summer there has been a presentation of some of Maurice’s favourite rally shots in Brecon Theatre in South Wales. His favourite event was always the Safari Rally in Kenya.
