Stewards at the Rally of Portugal have ruled that Hyundai's registration of Kevin Abbring's 2015 i20 WRC as the second entry in the second level Mobis team entry was ineligible for scoring points, as it was not the same homologation as the NG i20 WRC cars used in the main Shell team.
The registration for Thierry Neuville's car as the other car in the Mobis team was deemed valid.
The team has not yet stated how the misunderstanding came about.
