Australian co-driver Rebecca Smart finished a very tough Rally Germany in 43rd place at the weekend. In 2013 Van der Marel and Smart won all six rounds of the Fiesta series in the Belgian Rally Championship, and are contesting a varied program this year, including the WRC rounds in Germany and Spain in their Ford Fiesta R2.
