The Brakes Direct International Rally of Queensland sees the return of the ASPnet Rally Team to competition for the 2012 season on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland from May 25th to 27th.

After undergoing a rebuild and suspension package change during the off season the team has decided to enter the QRC portion of the event to undergo further testing of the new package to gauge its competitiveness and allow driver Steve Tonna to adjust to the new package.

“We’re really excited to finally have some MCA suspension in the vehicle and can’t wait to test this in a competition environment on some of the most testing stages in Australia. This being our home event, Lorelle and myself are planning on attacking from the first stage, we’ve felt our previous package has limited our competiveness in the past so we are looking forward to throwing everything at the event this time around,” Tonna said.

The team are also excited to see local competitor and businessman Greg Latham get behind the event with his new brand Brakes Direct.

ASPnet Rally Team are sponsored by ASPnet, Tonna Business Services, Chiptorque, Hinterland Smash Repairs, Cheesecake Motorsport, Coast CV & Suspension, Rolin Imports, Dorn Industries and would like to thank them for their ongoing support.
