Brothers Harry and Lewis Bates have boosted the entry list for next weekend’s KCF Short Course Rally at Imbil, in Queensland. Harry Bates and John McCarthy will use the pacenoted event as a test session for the new Toyota Yaris AP4 ahead of next month’s Rally Australia. Lewis Bates and Anthony McLoughlin will do likewise, only for the youngest Bates, this will be his first time driving a four-wheel drive rally car in competition. After recent events in a front-wheel drive Corolla, Lewis will drive the Corolla S2000 previously driven by his father, Neal, and brother, Harry. Heavy recent rain in Queensland has threatened the event, which will run on Saturday, October 28. The field of 34 cars includes a variety of four and two-wheel drive cars. The entry list can be seen HERE.
