Just hours before being crowned the Australian Rally Champion at a gala dinner in Melbourne, Harry Bates was in the thick of it at the Rally Retro Festival. While having driven his father Neal's Group A Celicas in the past, this was the first time he had driven this ex-Freddy Loix ERC winning Celica. The car currently resides in Adelaide and was present at the Historic Rally Association's Rally Retro Festival on Sunday. Harry Bates got the chance to drive the car around the short course, and also got some tips from his fellow ARC winning father.
