The Bathurst based crew of Leigh Gotch and Rodger Pedersen are excited at the prospect of stepping up into the ARC full time.
The team has previously run state and local ARC events and have upgraded their older WRX Subaru to a full house WRX STI Spec C Group N WRC purchased from Matt Jansen in New Zealand.
”The car is a rocket and beautifully built,” says Leigh. “The team is up for the challenge of competing against the best in the country in the revitalised championship. Credit should go to all involved in the revitalisation of the championship and will help with our quest for that extra sponsorship dollar and top competition.
“The car is in full WRC Group N trim and we will be running in the WRC component of the World Championship round in Coffs Harbour, now that the Kumho control tyre is eligible. This has always been a dream of the team and a contributing reason why this car in particular was purchased.”
