The Brisbane Sporting Car Club have been forced to cancel this weekend’s Imbil Short Course Rally. More than 300mm of rain has fallen in the Imbil area in recent days, and with more rain forecast, organisers had little choice by the cancel the rally. The rally had received 34 entries, including ARC regulars Harry Bates (Yaris AP4), Lewis Bates (Corolla S2000) and Adrian Coppin (Lancer Evo). The Bates brothers had been set to use the event as a pre-event test ahead of next month's Rally Australia.
