It has been announced in Kenya that there will be a new location for the Safari Rally central service park.
It will be now nearer to the centre of Naivasha, at the Kenya Wildlife Service Training Institute.
The Kenyan Ministry of Tourism stated that this would have only a minimal effect on the national park’s wildlife and ecosystem.
The Tourism Cabinet Secretary stated that part of the funds raised from the event would go towards saving the park’s endangered vultures, and various environmental projects.
