CAMS statement on Evans penalty at Rally Tasmania

CAMS have released the following statement after today's Heat 2 of Subaru Rally Tasmania: "The heat two and round results of Subaru Rally Tasmania are still subject to an ongoing stewards hearing. Eli Evans and Ben Searcy were issued an infringement by the Clerk of Course for receiving assistance on a special stage after they overshot a corner and were unable to restart their Skoda Fabia R5. The Tankformers crew were excluded from the stage, which relegated them from first outright to third for the round. Evans and Searcy exercised their right to a stewards hearing post the event, which is in progress now. Further information will be published when available."
