The popular north Queensland Cardwell Rally is on again this year. This year called the Lefties Cardwell Classic Rally, the event will be run on the weekend of August 14 and 15. This rally is organised by Townsville City Autosports Club and has a long history in Cardwell.
The event will covers approx 135 kilometres of forestry roads behind the coastal township of Cardwell in North Queensland. Early indications show the types of vehicles running in the event will be varied.
