The former Subaru World Rally Team driver will drive a Paul Morris Motorsport Holden Commodore at Queensland Raceway.
Motorsport website speedcafe quote Atkinson as saying he was looking forward to the experience.
“I’ve always had a great urge to drive a V8 Supercar so it’s going to be a pretty cool experience for me,” Atkinson said.
