Cody Crocker still has his fingers crossed that the planets will align and that he can contest this year’s Production World Rally Championship.
The four-time Asia-Pacific Rally Champion was in Tasmania, and while he is unlikely to join the Australian Rally Championship any time soon, his hopes of a PWRC gig are still alive.
“I’d say it’s still 50/50, so all is not lost yet,” Crocker told RallySport Mag.
The final deadline for entries in the PWRC isn’t until April, giving Crocker and his Indonesian-based team much needed time.
“There are on-going discussions with sponsors, and if that goes our way then we can start our PWRC campaign at Rally New Zealand,” Crocker added.
If successful in getting the drive, he will again drive a Group N Subaru Impreza WRX STI.
