Fiesta R5 driver Matt Edwards from North Wales has retained the British Rally Championship title after he cruised to third place on the Galloway Hills Rally, the final round of the 2019 series.
Comfortable event winner was the Hyundai i20 R5 of Tom Cave who won all eight stages of the event, pursued by the Fiesta R5 of Jonathan Greer.
The top Junior driver was the Peugeot 208 R2 driver William Creighton ahead of the Fiesta R2T of Marty Gallagher.
Matt Edwards won his second BRC title.
The Galloway Hills Rally was based at Dalbeattie in south west Scotland and the shortened route included just over 60 miles of forest stages.
To win the title again, Edwards only needed to finish this event in seventh place.
Edwards and Cave were well ahead in the championship, with Edwards finally beating Cave by 13 points.
