Elf will again be the official control fuel of the Australian Rally Championship in 2007, the fourth year that the company has been the chosen supplier.
All registered NEC ARC competitors will be required to use one of the two control fuels, which was decided after a public tender process and was subsequently approved by CAMS.
Elf WRF, a High Performance Rally (102 Octane) fuel, must be used by NEC ARC level 1 competitors in turbo 4WD cars, manufacturer entries, the front running Privateers’ Cup teams, and all Super 2000 entrants.
A 98 RON Rally Fuel that is a commercially available retail premium unleaded fuel, will be compulsory for use by all NEC ARC competitors entered in the RS Cup, F16 Cup and Challenge categories.
