Eli Evans will consider simply finishing this weekend’s National Capital Rally as a victory for he and his team.

“We did about 25km of testing on Wednesday which was really just getting a feel for the car,” Evans told RallySport Magazine today.
“It really was just a process of making sure everything was working okay and getting through the day.
“We know the car has got heaps of potential, and I’m a racer so I want to win every time I get behind the wheel, but we need to be realistic this weekend.
“Getting the car to the finish will be a real victory for us this weekend, and hopefully we can do that.”
The Mini looked and sounded fast on the shakedown stage, and spectators keen for a view of the new AP4 car in action won’t be disappointed.
