Subaru rally fans could be heard groaning around the world as one of the factory rally cars went up in flames on the weekend. Travis Pastrana's Subaru Rally Team USA WRX caught fire in the Southern Ohio Forest Rally in the USA, midway through the rally's second stage. "Felt great to be rallying again. Had a solid first stage with @chrissiebeavis doing an amazing job with the notes even though she hasn’t been in a car of this speed in a few years," Pastrana said on social media. "Unfortunately, we think something happened to the oil line to the turbo because we lost power on stage 2 and then caught fire. We were fine but someone threw a Red Cross and stoped the stage when they saw our car. "That car had taken David Higgins to so many championships." Barry McKenna took first overall in a Skoda Fabia, followed by Joseph Burke and Aussie Rhiannon Gelsomino in a Lancer Evo. Ken Block and Alex Gelsomino were third in the Hoonigan Escort Cosworth.
