Over 200 people attended the fun-filled evening at the Wedderburn Town Hall where they were entertained by guest speakers, games, a presentation by Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Smyth, and an auction. The MC and auctioneer for the evening was Adrian 'Mozza' Morrisby, who flew over from Tasmania for the function. Guest speaker, former Bathurst winner Tony Longhurst, travelled from the Gold Coast to attend. Many other guests also travelled long distances to show their support for Brendan and Rhianon.
Sponsors, supporters and fans enjoyed a great night and helped to raise funds for Brendan and Rhianon's 2011 WRC campaign which involves competing in six rounds of the World Rally Championship Academy Cup.
A number of fans then took the opportunity on Sunday to enjoy a 'hotlap' with Brendan in his Pacific Cup-winning left hand drive Subaru Impreza. The hotlaps took place at the Reeves' test track just outside Wedderburn, and were a great chance to experience a ride in a rally car. Everyone taking part in the hotlaps emerged from the car with a huge smile on their face!
Brendan and Rhianon would like to thank all their supporters for attending the function and the hotlaps day and for making it such a huge success.
