He may have been the only one driving a World Rally Car, but Frenchman Adrien Fourmaux took the win in this year's Rally Legend event.
Held in the Republic of San Marino, Fourmaux's win will give him great confidence heading into this weekend's round of the WRC in Sardinia, where he'll be at the wheel of a Fiesta R5.
“The Rally Legend was a fantastic event and driving the Ford Fiesta WRC was like a dream come true," he said.
"It was a great weekend with a great atmosphere, and I hope the experience helps me as I come back to the Ford Fiesta Rally2 and WRC 2 this week.
"Although I have only competed in Rally Italia Sardegna once before, I am looking forward to the challenge and hope to be able to achieve the best results again."
Ken Block and Alex Gelsomino took third place in their classic Ford Escort Cosworth.
