An 11-times national rally champion driver has launched a brand new co-driving app that is gaining plenty of attention.
Paolo Andreucci won the Italian title an incredible 11 times, but the 54-year old, together with his former co-driver and partner Anna, has developed AndreucciCoDrive, a free navigation app that builds on traditional navigational apps by also telling you the curves of upcoming corners, their gradation and degree of difficulty.
The benefits of this are not only for an increase in personal safety, but to assist in the reduction of fuel, tyre and brake consumption. In varying weather conditions on foreign roads, drivers can navigate corners with increased confidence, knowing what is awaiting them.
The mechanics behind the app also adapt to the habits of each user, as it comes to learn their driving habits better.
During their rallying career, the Andreuccis were renowned for their consistency and through the app, they are allowing drivers to use that same know-how and to improve their driving.
Another standout feature of the app is built-in games to encourage safe driving in a competitive manner. By taking on certain challenges within the app, users can win passes to a WRC Rally, a test lap with Paolo himself, and fuel vouchers.
The App works around the world and is currently available in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. More languages will follow in due course.
