First details of entries received for Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo have been issued by the organisers, which state the maximum allowed limit of 80 crews have been reached.
This includes three WRC entries received from Hyundai, four from Toyota and three as yet unspecified crews from M-Sport.
Hyundai has named Ott Tanak (strangely assigning competition number 8, not the number 1 reserved for the world champion), Neuville and Loeb. Toyota has entered Ogier, Evans, Rovanpera and Katsuta.
M-Sport will not announce their crews until “early January”.
No details of the official titles of the WRC teams have been released.
Only two entries for WRC2 (formerly “WC2Pro”: Ostberg in Citroen and Veiby in Hyundai) have been stated. Note: teams must enter at least one car in eight of the WRC rounds, including at least one long-haul event.
The definitive list is to appear on January 13.
