Now it’s Max McRae and Ronnie Bustard who have emerged as genuine challengers to Gill for Production Cup glory with just two rounds remaining.
Gill began the Gippsland Rally on fire and immediately put his stamp on the field. After the first loop of stages, he was steadily holding onto third place outright and first in class, and had stage times that included a second fastest overall time.
