For 2016 Australian Rally Championship winner Molly Taylor, it began at Canberra’s Rallye Des Femmes in 2006, where she finished five minutes ahead of her nearest competitor.

Canberra's Rallye Des Femmes is Australia’s premiere lady drivers’ event (why should the boys have all the fun?).

Last year’s Rallye winner, Cathy Donohue, is expected to be defending her 2015 win for the Capital Steering and Suspension Trophy. Women from the ACT, NSW, South Australia, Queensland and Victoria are all returning to have a good crack at beating Cathy.

Partnering with womanCANplay for its 39th year, and with an expected field of 30 cars, the 2016 Rallye Des Femmes should be action-packed.

It’s not too late to enter – entries close Wednesday, November 30th.

Spectators are guaranteed to be among the action at the spectator points. From there it’s a short walk to the Service Park where they are welcome to meet ’n’ greet the competitors, admire the rally cars and enjoy hot food.

The 2016 womenCANplay Classic starts at 1:30pm on December 3 at Kowen Forest Settlement.
