India's Guarav Gill has won the International Rally of Queensland, round four of the 2010 FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship, today.
Gill, with co-driver Glen Macneall from New Zealand, crossed the podium in Imbil in the Sunshine Coast hinterland one minute 16 seconds ahead of Australian brothers Glen and Matt Raymond.
Gill’s teammates Katsuhiko Taguchi (Japan) with Chris Murphy (Australia) were third.
All three crews drove Mitsubishi Lancers.
Subaru pair Simon and Sue Evans of Victoria won every stage of the weekend in the Australian Rally Championship section of the event, earning sufficient points to provisionally clinch their fourth Australian Rally Championship.
