With the Focus on Furniture Victorian Rally Championship at the halfway mark of the 2014 season, the team at Gunnawyn Motorsport will continue to take a positive approach and introduce further development ahead of the three remaining rounds for 2014.
Driver Viv Dilkes Frayne and Co Driver Tracey Dewhurst have proven to be a great balance in the car together, continuing to build that important relationship between Driver and Co driver.
Heading up the Gunnawynn Motorsport team, John Carney, with his vast knowledge and experiance at all levels of Australian Rallying and his recruitment of experienced Chris Stone, Beth Kidgell and Graeme Kidgell, all continue to support,mentor and be the back none of the Subaru crew as the team continue developing and learning the cars capabilities in order to contest the 2015 with the goal of a championship win.
Assisting with their development is Russell Palmer at Motorsport Tyres Victoria, supplying the team with Hankook tyres and on event assistance , in invaluable support in this important year for the Subaru team.
The team will continue to work hard at every rally to ensure they are improving their pace with former Australian rally Championship Justin Dowel winning almost all heats to date in the championship this year, returning driver Darren Windus and the ever increasing speed of Justin Walker and Alan Friend. It is great this year to see where we sit amongst them and so far we are pretty excited to be sitting Towards to top end of the leader board. " It means our year so far and the goals set are on target and successful.”
