At the half way point of Heat 1 of Subaru Rally Tasmania, Harry Bates holds a 36.2 second lead in his Toyota Yaris AP4.
Bates has won all six stages to date, and leads Molly Taylor's Subaru, with Lewis Bates third, a further 47 seconds in arrears.
Richie Dalton has his Ford Fiesta in fourth place, ahead of Simon Evans in a Subaru. Evans dropped time on the final stage before the lunchtime service with gearbox issues.
