The 2020 Tasmanian Rally Championship will finally get underway on September 5 with the running of the Hellyer Sprint Rally.
To be run as a one-day pacenoted rally, reconnaissance will be held in the morning, with the competitive stages in the afternoon.
After a much longer than normal off-season, competitors will savour 70km of stages, run over two heats and counting for two of the six rounds of the Tasmanian Rally Championship.
The Sprint format will provide an interesting challenge to all competitors, as everyone will have to be straight on the ball, with no time to warm up!
Interest is likely to be high, and Supplementary Regulations will be released shortly.
