Hi-Tec Oils, a family owned Australian company, providing Australian made lubricants, greases and specialty products, has joined forces with the East Coast Bullbars Australian Rally Championship and Rally Australia as the official oil supplier.
Speaking at the announcement of the new partnership Hi-Tec Oils Managing Director George Gambino said: “Hi-Tec Oils have always taken an interest in rallying in Australia, we tested the waters last year and saw the wonderful opportunity to grow a strong partnership with Australian Rally Championship in 2014 and hopefully beyond.”
Ben Rainsford, Chairman of the East Coast Bullbars Australian Rally Championship, extended a warm welcome to Hi-Tech Oils and their expanded involvement in rallying.
“It’s terrific to see a successful Australian company like Hi-Tec Oils looking to increase their exposure through rallying in Australia, and we welcome their continued involvement in Rally Australia and their new connection to the ECB ARC,” Rainsford said.
Hi-Tec Oils became a supporter of Rally Australia in 2013, the local Round of the World Rally Championship, through their sponsorship of the service park. Gambino said the involvement with Rally Australia last year proved incredibly beneficial to both the rally and Hi-Tec Oils.
“Rally Australia provided a fantastic, friendly environment where its competitors can safely enjoy and participate in their sport. We are pleased to support the Australian Rally Championship and hope to see the continual growth of rally in Australia,” he said.
“And we are pleased to be able to offer these quality products to the Australian Rally Championship and its members.”
Gambino added that the decision to expand Hi-Tec Oils involvement in 2014 had been largely influenced by their supporters.
“Our fans have made it clear that rally is what they would like to see. After our involvement with Rally Australia last year, we ran a Facebook poll asking our friends and customers which sport they would like to see Hi-Tec Oils more involved in in 2014 – and Rally was the clear winner, which is one major contributing factor to our decision.”
The opening Round of the East Coast Bullbars Australian Rally Championship, the National Capital Rally, starts this weekend in Canberra.
