A total of 84 entries have been received for the 2022 Bega Valley Rally, with some big names on the entry list.
A veritable ‘who’s who’ of the 2WD rally scene will take up the challenge of one of the state’s favourite events.
Names such as Nathan Quinn, Brendan Reeves, Jack Monkhouse and Tom Clarke will all hit the stages in what is sure to be an Alpine Rally shakedown for a number of crews.
However, with great fields comes an even bigger task of getting enough officials to make the event run to it’s full capacity.
The event organisers have worked hard to reduce the amount of time required for Officials to be out in the forests, but this also means the manpower required is significant.
The Sapphire Coast Sporting Car Club have put a call out for help, so if you want your own personal spectator point, please get in contact with Pip Barker.
No experience is necessary.
But put simply, without enough volunteers, the event will be unable to run to its full length.
