Opel’s 2016 one-make Cup Car junior champion, Jari Huttunen, has been added to Marcus Gronholm’s promotional team.
Jari Huttunen left with Niclas, Marcus and Joni.He joins former Global Rallycross champion Joni Wiman and Marcus’ rallycross son Niclas Gronholm, and the 22 year old’s career is set to continue in 2017 in the full German championship with an R2 car.
In 2015 Huttunen was selected by Neste Rally Finland organisers as the “Future Rally Star of Finland” and was awarded a prize drive in a Citroën DS3 R3T in the 2016 Neste Rally Finland.
Niclas is the third member of the Gronholm dynasty which began with grandfather, the late Ulf Gronholm, a national Finnish champion, and continued with twice World Rally Champion Marcus.
