British rallying has taken a hit with the cancellation of the entire 2020 Irish Tarmac Championship.
The championship's board of directors made the unanimous decision because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Restrictions on public gatherings in Ireland and the UK meant that five of the remaining six rallies would either need to be postponed or cancelled.
"It was a difficult decision to make but I believe it is in the best interests of everyone involved," series chairman, Colman Hegarty, said in a statement.
The championship will now focus its attention on the 2021 season.
