Three-time European Rally Champion, Kajetan Kajetanowicz, is helping support his local community battle the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Polish driver most recently finished WRC3 in fourth position at Rally Mexico, but his efforts in his hometown of Ustron is far greater than any rally result.
“Many people in Poland, in accordance with the restrictions, are in quarantine,” Kajetanowicz said.
“Among them are the elderly who do not necessarily cope well with the situation. We want to help them together with the City Hall of Ustroń and with the support of the fantastic local community of my hometown."
Kajetanowicz and his family have come together with the City Hall to help to provide masks and other equipment to people suffering from the virus.
"It is important that despite maintaining distance and other safety measures, which we have to take in such a situation, we do not forget to help others," he added.
"Right now, especially, we need to unite and support each other. That is why I thank everyone who was involved in our joint action.”
