Molly Taylor doesn't have a full-time ride in this year's Australian Rally Championship, but she does have plans to enter events this year. Like everyone, Taylor is adhering to the 'stay at home' measures put in place by Australian governments. She tells RallySport Magazine what she's been up to. RSM: Where are you holed up during this lockdown? Molly Taylor: At home in Melbourne. Who's in the house with you? My partner Dan, who’s also working from home now. RSM: What are you doing to keep amused during these strange times? MT: We’ve been building bits and pieces to create a home gym. I’ve been trying to bake, which hasn’t gone well, learning yoga and working on a few projects I’ve had on the back burner for a while. RSM: Do you have a simulator close by to keep you entertained? MT: We just moved house and my sim is caught in the middle of the move. So it’s currently in pieces ,which is unfortunate timing.
RSM: Are there any cars and tools there for you to play with? MT: My partner Dan has a project car in the garage. We’ve put in some new suspension and he just finished the supercharger installation. RSM: What are you missing most about not being able to get out and about? MT: Being able to see family and friends, especially my family and our dogs back up in Sydney. I can’t wait to get back to the workshop to finish setting up the new home for our ride day car, and out onto the mountain bike trails too! RSM: What are the three most used apps on your phone at the moment? MT: Instagram, WhatsApp, Audible. RSM: Do you think we'll be back rallying before the end of the year? MT: There are a lot of people doing everything they can to make that scenario a possibility, so I really hope so, but I think it’s too early to know if that’s achievable or not.
