After a long break, special stage rallying returns to the popular Jimna forest on May 10 for the KCF Rallysport Jimna Revival.
Many have fond memories of the popular KCF Rallysport sponsored rallies in Jimna and this event promises to re-deliver those great memories and more. Now based at the old Jimna State School, the rally will be run over two stages three times with a competitive distance of approximately 50km.
While that may not seem much, the all daytime event is a pacenoted rally over the best roads Jimna has to offer, some not seen in many years due to forestry harvesting.
Breaking with tradition will be the class structure of the rally which will have only three classes. They will be Four Wheel Drive, Front Wheel Drive and Rear Wheel Drive.
The event is being held just after the Brisbane Sporting Car Club Pace Noting School on May 2. It is a perfect opportunity to shake out the cobwebs before International Rally of Queensland in June or simply have a good old fashioned great time in the forest.
Entries will be capped at 35 + 2 reserves so the rally can be contained in daylight hours. Entry is only $295.00and early indications are that it will be a popular event.
Entries are open now and Supplementary Regulations can be found at:
