After weeks of hard work, Petter Solberg launched his new team, Petter Solberg World Rally Team, at a press conference in his home of Spydeberg, Norway, on Friday.
The team will be managed by Ken Rees, who previously worked for Subaru World Rally Team, whilst Francois Xavier Demaison, is the Chief Engineer.
Solberg told the gathered media and invited guests, "I have been working flat out, and I’m really proud to present my new team today. I have a lot of brilliant people around me, and they have all been working 24 hour shifts for me the past weeks. Without them and my sponsors, this would not have been possible."
Solberg, and co-driver Phil Mills, will debut their new Citroen Xsara in Solberg's home WRC event, Rally Norway, which starts on Thursday.
