Former Australian Rally Champion Co-driver, Dale Moscatt, recently signed the contract of a lifetime when he wed long-time partner, Selina, in December.
The couple ducked off to the United States for a holiday in between rally seasons and their hectic schedules, which more often than not, sees them at opposite ends of the planet. While visiting Las Vegas they found time to finally tie the knot.
“We had been planning a wedding on a number of occasions but there always seemed to be rallies getting in the way,” explained Dale. “It worked out perfectly for us while we were over in the U.S. and we had an awesome time with both the ceremony and celebrating in Vegas.”
“I was supposed to be in the Sahara training for the Dakar Rally in December, which obviously fell through, but instead a helicopter tour into the Grand Canyon, followed by a Hummer ride through the Mohave Desert in Nevada with my new bride was fitting I thought,” laughed the happy groom.
Details on Moscatt’s rally plans for 2007 will be announced shortly.
