The lack of snow at Rally Sweden provided a bonus for one of RallySport Magazine's regular tour customers, Colin Palmer.
Colin and his dad, Richard, had splurged on a bucket list event to attend Rally Sweden, the one snow rally on the WRC calendar.
However, the unusually warm weather interfered with only half of the scheduled stages completed.
On the upside, Colin was one of five winners in a Toyota Gazoo Racing competition. He was required to answer: "I'm rally's biggest fan because:"
Answers were judged on "the most convincing, original or funny way."

Colin's prize winning entry was ... "My name is Colin Palmer, my dad and me travelled from Sydney, Australia to see Sebastian Ogier win Rally Sweden in the snow. But there's no snow, maybe we'll have to come back sometime."
The prize was a tour of the Toyota Gazoo Racing team's service area, in the Torsby Service Park, with refreshments in the team's dining tent, a selection of promotional material and meeting team boss, the legendary Tommi Makinen.
Colin had been a VW motorsport fan since attending Rally Finland in 2015. He has changed allegiance to the Toyota Gazoo Racing team and purchased a new team jacket.
Colin's prize was a just reward for being one of the WRC's biggest fans!
