Luff too tough in Carabost Rallysprint

The family pairing of Jamie and Brad Luff took a comfortable victory in last weekend's Carabost Rallysprint in NSW. Driving a Subaru Impreza WRX, the pair finished a minute and a half clear in the event, which was run by the Wagga & District Car Club under an AMSAG permit. Second place went to Russell Winks and Steve Hodgkin in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5, just 22 seconds ahead of third placed Jon Parker and Russell Taylor in a Lancer Evo 3. The first two-wheel drive car to finish was the rear-wheel drive Nissan Skyline R31 of Pat Ryan and Ant Gallagher, who led home locals Wade Ryan and Harrison Sewell in a Datsun 180B SSS. The other places in the top 10 went to Dean Price (Falcon XR6), Brent Dutoit (BMW 318i), Ryan Price (Falcon XR6), Michael Tori (Toyota Altezza) and Nathan Breese (Proton Satria).
