Toyota's Kris Meeke has been forced to apologise after an outburst during the All Live coverage at Rally Mexico.
Meeke had been referring to the organisers’ decision to issue the Red (stage stopped) alert ,which appeared to favour the Citroen driver and eventual winner, Sebastien Ogier.
“I just want to recover some tracks. I sincerely want to apologise from the bottom of my heart to everyone in the Citroen team," Meeke said in his apology.
"I made some bad comments, I shouldn't have said the words 'dirty tactics' so yeah, in the heat of the moment when it's like that, there are so many things that were coincidence that it was hard to imagine what happened, but like I said, I sincerely apologise for what happened. Thank you.”
