Drivers contesting the Hoosier Challenge around Australia in the latter part of 2020 have been given details of how the new competition will operate. The newly introduced Hoosier Challenge will take place across five different states over the next two months as part of a number of state-based rally events. Competitors who choose to run on Hoosier tyres in their chosen state event this year will be eligible for Hoosier Challenge prizes and will also be able to take advantage of a special “buy three, get one free” tyre offer. Each entrant will be allowed a maximum of two free tyres per event. The Hoosier Challenge will give the winner of each event bragging rights over fellow crews, as well as rewarding them with free entry into their local round of the 2021 RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Championship. The first eligible Hoosier Challenge event takes place at the AGI Sport Adelaide Hills Rally in mid-October, Queensland will then hold its Hoosier Challenge event in October, before Tasmania and Victoria run their respective events in November. Crews in New South Wales and the ACT will be the last to have the opportunity to take part in the Hoosier Challenge, with their event to be the Netier National Capital Rally, which takes place on 27-29 November – alongside the RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Cup. What is the Hoosier Challenge? The Hoosier Challenge is a special series of state based events where crews who run on Hoosier tyres can have the chance to win free entry into one ARC round in 2021. Who is eligible? Most competitors will be eligible, however crews who run AP4 and R5 vehicles will be unable to enter the Challenge. Major requirements All competitors in the Hoosier Challenge will be required to run with Hoosier Racing Tyres. Competitors are also entitled to a special deal where they are can purchase three tyres and get a fourth one free. The purchases must be made at least three weeks before their desired event and limited to two free tyres per event. Tyre orders will be validated against entries into respective events.   • Queensland: Manumbar Rally – 31 October
  • Tasmania: Rally Tasmania – 7 November
  • NSW/ACT: Netier National Capital Rally – 27-29 November
  • Victoria: Western Victorian Crane Trucks Valley Stages Rally – 28 November
  • Western Australia: Unfortunately, Western Australia will not be part of the Hoosier Challenge
