MRF gets the go-ahead for 2024 ARC

The next three Australian Rally Championship seasons will be run exclusively on MRF Tyres.
A ‘competitive tender process’ was held by the championship, and the likes of MRF and current supplier, Hoosier, put in tenders to be the sole tyre for the championship.
After a thorough investigation into the applications made by tyre brands, the series chose to return to running on MRF rubber, which was used in the championship from 2017-2019.
The distributors for the 2024-2026 championships, Tony Sullens and Darrin Trigg of Pinnacle Tyres, will be managing the orders of the ARC teams, with assistance from SA Motorsport Tyres.
Speaking to RallySport Magazine last week, Sullens explained that he had tried to make his application the best for all parties.Â
