Norwegian Mads Ostberg has been back in a rally car over the last few days with a Polish Citroen team.

“Today was my first day back in a proper rally car in three months,” Ostberg said.

“I must say it was quite amazing to drive again.”

Ostberg also co-drove which is a rarity for the one-time WRC round winner.

“I’ve also been a co-driver today which I don’t enjoy so much.

“It’s been really nice though - nice conditions. Wet and slippery, so absolutely perfect,” he joked.

The test, which has run over several days with the BTH Rally Team has seen Mads both drive, co-drive and coach.

Ostberg is well-versed the Citroen C3 R5 car, having run it for almost two years in the WRC support championships.

He won Rallye Monte Carlo and Rally Sweden’s WRC2 category earlier in 2020.
