MERC champion for the past six years, Nasser Al Attiyah, will make the debut of the Fiesta R5 Evo 2 at the MERC Jordan Rally (May 4-6), replacing the Skoda Fabia R5 which brought him the title last year. Â

The Evo 2 cars feature new cylinder heads and exhaust manifolds. Â
This weekend Volkswagen Motorsport will run a 2016 version Polo R WRC for a non-factory team for the first time when Raimund Baumschlager starts the Wechselland Rallye, third round of the Austrian national championship.
